Kisekini joins Hanson’s headquarters as structural designer
Joel Kisekini, structural designer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. He will perform complex engineering calculations and use structural design software for analysis and design. Kisekini previously provided bridge engineering services for a multidisciplined engineering firm in Springfield. He received an associate degree from John A. South Mahomet Road extension wins APWA Illinois award
The American Public Works Association’s (APWA) Illinois Chapter recognized Hanson Professional Services Inc. with a Public Works Project of the Year Award during the chapter’s annual awards dinner Nov. 5 in Peoria, Illinois. Hanson received the award in the transportation category for projects that cost $5 million but less than $25 million for the South Mahomet Road project in Mahomet. Completed in 2024, the road was extended to address projected traffic congestion, providing Mahomet-Seymour Community
