The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Financial Review Worker. Under general supervision, this position will perform professional accounting and auditing work, utilizing accounting principles, methods, and techniques which are specifically related to the Department’s Financial Review Program. The position will conduct field audits, limited audits, and desk reviews of private agencies within assigned areas, reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and procedures. This position will prepare comprehensive audit reports of results and will serve as liaison with private agencies within assigned areas. This position provides a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in putting their professional accounting and auditing abilities to use in the Department’s Financial Review Program.
