A NEW MURAL IN SPRINGFIELD
The Springfield Art Association has been awarded a grant from Healing Illinois, a division of the Field Foundation of Illinois, to add a mural to Jaycee Park in Springfield. Local artist Jeff Williams has designed the mural and is working with three student assistants to produce the dynamic and colorful mural on all four sides of the structure at the park, adjacent to the playground. The Springfield Art Association (SAA) will kick off the 12th annual “Paint the Street” presented by PNC Bank.
