As part of the City of Springfield’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, Mayor Misty Buscher is continuing the Springfield Community Connections ward events with a new session scheduled for Wednesday, October 8th, 2025.
These events are designed to create more accessible and personal opportunities for residents to engage directly with City leadership. Residents are invited to meet with Mayor Buscher, their Alderperson, and senior staff from key City departments. The sessions offer one-on-one conversations with representatives from several City agencies and provide immediate access to helpful resources and services.
Residents of the ward are encouraged to attend to meet department leaders, ask questions, share concerns, and stay informed about programs and services available in their neighborhood. Informational materials will also be available to help attendees stay engaged beyond the day of the event.
