FIFTH STREET TO DETOUR FOR WATER WORK

Beginning Monday, May 12th, N. Fifth Street will be closed between Eastman and North Grand Avenues for City Water, Light and Power’s repairs to a damaged water service line in the 1200 block. A detour route will be posted at Eastman Avenue for area motorists. Impacted lanes will remain closed until road surface repairs are complete.

Motorists should plan for alternative routes, always slow down, and be aware of crews and equipment in work zones.
