CWLP HIRING FOR APPRENTICE INSTRUMENT ELECTRICIAN

City Water, Light and Power is now hiring for Apprentice Instrument Electrician through its Electrical Apprenticeship Program at City of Springfield. This position is part of the team that supports the critical electrical and control systems that powers the Springfield community. This apprenticeship includes on-the-job training and coursework to provide knowledge and technical information to perform the duties of the position.
 
Take the Test to Qualify:
Applicants for this position and any other CWLP Electric Apprentice Program positions must have taken the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee’s (NJATC’s) test and scored a 6 or better by any application deadline and must have met all other minimum qualifications to be considered for an interview. Exam scores are valid for 24 months from the date of testing.
 
The CWLP JATC offers testing sessions at CWLP’s facility located at 2730 Old Rochester Road in Springfield. The next test date to qualify is August 20.
