Chamber seeks nominations for Small Business Awards!

Nominations are now being sought for The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Awards. 
The Chamber recognizes area small business owners who have demonstrated outstanding performance through innovation, growth, staying power and contributions to the community in four different categories:

  • Not-For-Profit Director of the Year
  • New & Emerging Business Owner of the Year
  • Small Business Owner of the Year
  • Lifetime Award –Business Owner of the Year
Nominating a business is easy – just click on the link on our website and provide the name of the business, its owner or owners, and the award category.  A link to nominate, as well as criteria for each award, can be found on the Chamber’s homepage and Chamber Events Calendar at www.gscc.org.  The deadline for nominations is March 31. 

Nominees will be recognized, and winners announced, at the Small Business Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, June 23, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Convention Center. Hickory Point Bank & Trust is the Presenting Sponsor.

Reservations are $50 per member ($60 after May 28). Non-members can attend for $95.  Table sponsorships are also available to members for $675 that includes 10 seats and the company’s name printed in the luncheon program.
