Job Description


Primary responsibility: Servicing clients through management and coordination of web development projects including:  building and maintaining websites as well as managing SEO programs; assisting clients with troubleshooting and researching solutions to problems with websites. Technical abilities in software and the internet as well as expertise in technical writing to include training manuals, proposals, and cost-estimating are utilized heavily in this position. Attention to detail is extremely important.

Secondary responsibility:  Assisting business development onsite presentations to help market McD Digital services to prospects and existing clients.

This position represents McD Digital division in many ways. It is imperative that professional phone skills, customer service, and patience are core competencies for this individual. A sense of urgency for the client’s situation is a key element in conveying the values of McD.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Project management including training and customer support
  • Analyzes web metrics and provides expertise on optimization and online marketing
  • Collaborates with multiple departments in proposal creation and cost estimation
  • Supports business development with client presentations
  • Performs statistical analysis and reporting functions including recommendations
  • Researches new developments in the online industry
  • Assist clients and staff with website content, data entry and page building

Core duties:

  • Manage stats and SEO programs
  • Build and manage websites
  • Project Management including billing, specs, proposals, task assignment & status update and deadline management
  • Preparing proposals with the assistance of other team members as needed
  • Support the manager and AEs in all aspects of client communications
  • Website quoting and coordinating with outside vendors
  • Assist staff by providing technical support with content transfer, HTML cleanup, stylesheet setup , testing and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate and respond as needed to website requests from client
    1. Direct designers on “design-related” website change requests
    2. Direct copywriters on “content related” website change requests
    3. Assist with quoting change requests with AE
  • Inform appropriate personnel on status changes of projects
  • Training clients
  • Create “specification documentation” for NEW modules (as requested)
    1. Work with outside vendors and programmers on specifications
    2. Help in quoting the new modules based on specifications including trends and research

Other Duties:

  • Taking part in presentations to help close business
  • Create custom CMS system tip sheets for client as needed
  • Servicing customers to keep them satisfied by reaching their goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Marketing, Web Development, IT or related degree
  • Project management experience in marketing field
  • Familiarity with project management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Understanding and experience with web technologies, specifically content management systems and SEO
  • Knowledge of internet tools, trends and user experience concepts
  • Inherently motivated and organized with a “can-do” attitude
  • Flexible and creative
  • Team player, willing to take direction
  • Able to multi task
